Kidsroads Children's Ministry

Welcome to KIDSROADS

Crossroads is happy to provide a safe, fun place for your kids to spend time learning about God, and the Bible and to develop relationships with peers and adults.

We have programs from birth through elementary-age children. All of our programs are staffed by volunteers from the Crossroads Community. (Every volunteer has to complete a background check before working with the program.)

Our KIDSROADS program is broken into age-appropriate classes.

CARRIAGE WAY is our nursery for children from birth through 2 years of age.

TRIKE PIKE is for 2 and 3 year-old children.

TRAINING WHEEL ALLEY is for children, 2 1/2 to 5 years of age.

BMX TRAIL is for 1st through 5th graders.

Contact Heidi Joy with any questions regarding our Sunday morning KIDSROADS programs.

CARRiage waY

CARRIAGE WAY is for children, birth through 2 years of age. The nursery staff consists of rotating adult volunteer staff from Crossroads and one hired staff person who provides a consistent, familiar face. The nursery room is equipped to provide a safe and loving environment so parents can relax and fully engage in the church service.

Trike Pike

TRIKE PIKE is for 2 and 3 year-old children. Similarly to the nursery, TRIKE PIKE is led by caring adult volunteers from the Crossroads community. TRIKE PIKE allows the children more room to play and explore while preparing them for the preschool program.

training wheel Alley

TRAINING WHEEL ALLEY is for Pre School to Kindergarten children, 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. The Hands on Bible Fun curriculum helps children grow in their love of God. Children will learn about God through experiential activities, art, music and games that reinforce the Bible story of the day.

BMX TRail

BMX TRAIL is for 1st through 5th graders. Each Sunday the children experience a fun, energetic and loving environment. We believe building meaningful relationships with peers and the teaching staff is key for children’s development in learning to love God and love others. The What's in the Bible curriculum is used to help children grow in their understanding of God’s word through worship, Bible reading, group discussion and experiential activities. The children begin the morning together for a 20 to 30 minute energetic time of worship, interactive bible story drama, and puppet show. The children then separate into small groups, 1st thru 2nd or 3rd thru 5th, for relationship building and interactive Bible lesson. After the small group time the children may have opportunity to go to the gym for fun and games. Each Sunday the children receive a take-home page that helps parents reinforce the lesson and encourages family learning all week long.
