We have a passion for people, our city and our world. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship, the love of God, and a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great co-workers and energy; always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

  • Rich Joy, Lead Pastor

Hi, my name is Rich. My wife, Heidi and I started Crossroads 25 years ago with a dream of introducing people to Jesus and helping people to learn how to Love God and Love Others. I was born and raised in Stratford, CT and now live in Trumbull. I have three grown children and two grandchildren. I’m happy to live and work in the place of my roots and to be a part of my growing family.

  • Tom Kay, Executive Pastor

My name is 6 would think that is short enough, but I am often called just TK. I answer to just about anything though. After spending ten years in the corporate world, I left to pursue fulltime ministry at Crossroads. I have not once looked back. I consider it a tremendous privilege to be a part of God's work in the lives of people...never a dull moment. Never a dull moment at home either. I have two teenage sons, two wild bulldog pups and an amazing wife, Gail. I have a masters in Organizational Leadership (think half theology, half business) and am a certified Crossfit Trainer.

  • Heidi Joy, Worship & Children's Ministry Leader

Hi, I’m Heidi. My heart beats for God, my family and His family. A little over twenty years ago God took this passion and gave my husband Rich and I a vision for Crossroads.

Children, music and the outdoors have been interwoven in the fabric of my life. My 3 adult children, their spouses and grandkids, fill my life with much joy and fun. Give me a chair by the beach, a hike in the woods, or time in the garden and I’m happy.

When you mix God, His family, my family, music, fun and some crazy you get me....Heidi Joy.

  • Leanne Pethrick, Administrator

Hi my name is Leanne. Coming from Australia, some people say I talk ‘funny’ (they don’t realize it’s actually them!) Crossroads became my new church home 8 years ago when my husband, 3 daughters and I, relocated to Connecticut. I love ‘to do’ lists and helping behind the scenes. It makes me so happy to see ideas and plans come together. I will hangout with you on the tennis court or in the kitchen anytime.
